ABOUT THE ARTIST

Cat Caro is a Nonbinary Queer illustrator and comicker who grew up in Massachusetts, although they now live and work in Baltimore, Maryland. They graduated with a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design in 2014.

They’ve loved spooky stories, strange creatures (real and imagined), and drawing since they were a little kid, and continue to channel those things into their work now.
Ideally all at once, where feasible!

An avid storyteller, Cat focuses on comics, story illustration, and general work meant to tell or assist a narrative. They also do a great deal of creature and character design for tabletop RPGs and other character-driven media, drawing on their passion for anatomy and zoology. They dabble in scientific illustration.

Is the personal servant of a pair of spoiled cats, consisting of a long hair named Caterpillar and a Tortoiseshell named Tadpole (pictured above)
